Modifying Levels

💡

If you import your Revit project from Forma Building Design, Revit automatically creates floor levels based on the floor heights of all imported buildings.

You can modify these Levels as needed for easier modeling:

  • Renaming the Levels created by the import.
  • Adjusting the elevations of existing Levels.
  • Creating new Levels.

If you import a project containing several buildings from Forma Building Design, the Revit project will have many sets of levels—one set for each imported building.

If many levels share the same (or similar) elevations, it may help to consolidate them—unifying elevations and eliminating duplicate levels that are no longer needed.
