Converting Parcel Coordination Models in Revit Elements

If you import Parcel Data into your Revit model, you can use it as the basis for adding Revit elements to create site plans and drawings.

Workflow

  • Import Parcel Data for the Project Context
  • Creating a Scenario to Link to Coordination Models
  • Use Revit Property Lines (Massing & Site > Model Site > Property Line) to trace the property boundaries.
  • #### Confirm the accuracy of the boundary lines using an assessor’s parcel map (if available)
    • Import an image of an assessor’s parcel map.
    • Scale the image to match the lines that you just drew.
    • Measure the lines to confirm that their lengths match the distances shown in the parcel map.
  • Adjust the site boundary lines as needed.
  • Add more details to your site plan.
    • Tag the property lines to show their length and compass orientation.
    • Add notes.
  • Hide or remove the Parcel Data coordination model.
    • To remove the coordination model, use the Collaborate > Manage Scenarios tool to remove the model from the Scenario.
    • To hide the coordination model, use the View > Visibility Graphics Overrides and switch to the Coordination Models tab.
