You can add Revit projects from Forma Data Management to a Forma Board.
Workflow
Select the Revit Project to Add
- Open a Forma board.
- Click the Data Management icon in the left toolbar, then + Add File.
- Navigate to the Revit project that you’d like to add:
- Turn on the checkbox to the left of the project Name, then click Open at the bottom of the window.
- A Forma Data Management widget appears on the board.
Displaying a Thumbnail Image
- Click Create Thumbnail.
- Adjust the 3D view in the thumbnail preview to select the features to be displayed.
- Click Save Thumbnail.
- The widget is updated to display the thumbnail image.
Extracting Views and Sheets
Using the Data Management Widget Toolbar
When you select a Data Management widget, a toolbar appears above it where you can:
- Lock the widget (to prevent accidental changes)
- Choose which version of the Revit project to display
- Render the thumbnail image (commerical subscribers only)
- Change the opacity of the widget image.
- Adjust the information shown in the thumbnail:
- Display shadows
- Display the filename, version, and last updated date.
- Change the thumbnail image.
- Extract sheets and views
- View issues linked to the project.
- Open the model viewer.
