CCP:

  • Who? What? Where? When? Why? How? Which? How many?
  • Add textual highlights of background, current status, mindset, skillset, biases & preferences

I have identified three types of CCP in my Oak Creek Residence

CCP #1: Creative Jasmyn

image
  • 27 years
  • Single
  • Very active (gym, climbing, hiking) 6x/week
  • PhD student in Epidemiology

Jasmyn loves:

  • Listening to podcasts on various topics, from epidemiology and science to self-improvement
  • Watching Netflix, especially Bridgerton
  • Making bracelets and earrings. She often gifts her handmade jewelry to friends
  • to explore new recipes in Native American cuisine

PoV Jasmyn:

Jasmyn needs different and exciting outdoor workout areas to match her exercise routine because even with the nice scenery (eucalyptus, oaks) , the current outdoor areas do not offer the variety she needs for her workouts.

CCP #2: Mom Jane

Jane is the loving mother of two energetic children. Her husband is currently pursuing his MBA at Stanford, which keeps him quite busy. The family resides in a cozy two-bedroom apartment at the Oak Creek Residence.

In the evenings, you can often find Jane and her family at the local playground. During the hot summer months, the community pool becomes their go-to spot. It's a refuge from the heat.

Jane is passionate about

  • healthy living and often experiments with new recipes
  • morning yoga sessions
  • reading, particularly fiction and self-improvement books
  • small garden on their apartment balcony where she grows herbs and flowers

PoV Jane:

Jane needs safe and fun outdoor places where her kids can play and the family can spend time together because even though there is a playground and pool, the outdoor spaces are not safe or fun enough (playground is not utilised), especially in the hot summer.

CCP #3: Charming Paula

Paula is 70 years old neighbour.

  • she has a friendly nature
  • amazing storyteller
  • very stylish and loves giving compliments about residents’ outfits
  • great sense of humor and loves to laugh
  • she is an avid reader
  • deeply involved in the community, volunteering
  • bird watching
  • grandmother to three grandchildren, who visit her regularly
  • baking apple pies for her family

PoV Paula: I believe that the most important for Paula is safety, accessibility and social interaction with other people and community, a place where she can enjoy her retirement, watch birds and meet with friends.
