Hi everyone! I am Emilie Moore, a sophomore studying Sustainable Architecture and Engineering. I just recently discovered a love for architecture after taking Study 1 last quarter (shout out to Ethen, Glen, and Beverly for being so incredible). I absolutely love how it combines math, design, creativity, psychology, and social behavior all in one. The thought that you can change the world with one building… absolutely crazy, it blows my mind, I want to do it.
This course caught my attention for a couple reasons. The first is that it is taught by Glen and he has been a mentor of mine since I met him. He is an absolutely all around incredible guy, so I really wanted an opportunity to take a class taught by him. Secondly, Studio 1 taught me that I love problem solving through design. I didn’t want to stray away from that this quarter and I thought this class would be a perfect continuation.
Other fun facts, I am on the dive team, I am obsessed with lines, I love reading, and I have a weiner dog.
