Key Findings from the Interview
- Pretty brand loyal
- Uses depop to be sustainable while still buying items that are new to her
- Values sustainability, but generally not over brand loyalty
Bought a top from Depop recently - likes depop because you can get more unique items from it
She does value sustainability, but sometimes gets decision paralysis because of the conflicting information about companies
She likes to wear things that look good and are new to her, so she also sells on depop - thinks that a lot of items don’t spend much time with one owner
She likes to have new Apple products, hasn’t really considered how sustainable Apple is - a lot of greenwashing and conflicting ideas, so how would you be able to tell?
She does a lot of research for clothes in general as there is a lot of stuff on depop and need to comb in order to find good items
Brand choice is limited as sticks to same brands and websites for shopping - except running shoes
Not a huge fan of the shopping process but likes trying on new things - will generally buy online
Trying to get into repairing own clothes - not too bothered for tech and shoes - but will recycle/ research how to dispose of properly
