These are my observations about peoples’ behaviors …
I spend some time observing peoples’ behaviors relating to disposing of their food at Lakeside. There were 2 main paterns that caught my eye.
#1 the first is that almost everyone I observed through all of their lunch waste (even liquids) in the same green trashcan. I wonder if this is because of the scale/screen, the posters on the back, the size of the container or even its color.
#2 I noticed how having photos of the things that could be disposed on each trashcan helps a lot with separating the waste by type. Facilitating the recycling process.
