Description

For my Y2E2 extension, I created a similar looking building that is connected to the existing building through a courtyard. The courtyard sits in the middle of the complex and features curtain walls on the second floor.

The building extension I created has three floors in total:

  1. The first floor contains a spacious cafe (equipped with an industrial kitchen), private study spaces, a maker space, and a student gallery space.
  2. On the second floor, there is a library, a second maker space, and a lounge/open study area.
  3. Key features of the third floor include a large conference room, a student lounge, and an open study space.

There are offices, restrooms, copy rooms, storerooms, and janitor closets throughout the building.

When it comes to the facade and the interior, I added several curtain walls in order to distinguish the extension a bit more from the existing building. These can be viewed in my 3D model.
