Description
My proposed design for TwitBook’s new headquarters was designed with a modern mindset in order to reflect TwitBook’s forward-thinking vision. The building is composed of two contrasting masses: the smaller one is a classic rectangular office building, and the bigger mass is a twisting, contorting tower. This contrasting design perfectly encapsulates TwitBook’s vision by demonstrating a willingness to challenge typical building conventions while still holding true to tradition. The vast curtain windows invite people walking by to look in on the TwitBook employees hard at work, innovating and collaborating. A 10-flight multistory staircase and elevator connect all of the floors, and spaces for a utility closet as well as a bathroom have been taken into account on each floor.
