The domain that I’d like to focus on is….
I would like to focus more on creating or improving current alternatives to plastic packaging. In my country and other post-USSR countries, plastic wraps are used everywhere and constantly. The problem is in the too little number of use and it’s hazardous elements present within the material. Since plastic wraps are so affordable and so easy to use the majority of citizens often prefer this choice compared to other more eco-friendly alternatives. I would most likely want to try find something more sustainable, durable, and non-dangerous to what is regularly used now. Moreover, I suppose that those paper bags are made from trees which is not as sustainable as it might seem at first due to the use of our scarce material (trees).
Except from the plastic alternatives and recycling, I would like to tackle the area of medicine. I think one of the greatest areas in science goes to the biology, cardiology, etc. These are the areas where people are trying to improve and push boundaries with new innovation. Another area I am interested in is transportation. Many people travel as big as by plane or as small as by car. I believe creating much durable models of transport or more eco-friendly fuels would be an important step toward the sustainable future.
This area is important/interesting to me because….
These are one of the big areas which include so many different aspects of each person’s life. I believe that these areas are interesting to challenge myself upon, for example, medicine. Overall, these are the areas that every person meets at least once in their life which makes me assume that these are the areas that would be with the greatest amount of impact.
