Design Project 1 | Domain / Area of Opportunity

The domain that I’d like to focus on is….

inherently a living building that simplifies clean and sustainable living. Modelled after what I experienced in Singapore, buildings in this township/city would embody biophillic design, whilst roads and transport systems allowed for seamless, car free, clean transportation.

This area is important/interesting to me because….

As cities increase in density, we must move away from the obsolete concrete jungles of the past century. A city district such as Tengah is both rejuvenating for its inhabitants, and sustainably sound - it is a city in nature. This is a glimpse of the cities of tomorrow, and I would push to see this implemented on a larger scale.
