Create your Oracle Student Account

• Go to this link to Oracle sign in page and create and account: https://edelivery.oracle.com/osdc/faces/Home.jspx
• Register as a new user and fill out the required, you should be able to fill out the form using your .edu email address and Student as your title:

• Verify the email address from the automated email response and continue to the account success page and hit Continue.

Download the P6 Installer Software

• Sign in with your created credentials on this link: https://edelivery.oracle.com/osdc/faces/Home.jspx
• Search P6 Professional Project Management and select DLP: Primavera P6 Professional Project Management 22.12.0.0.0 ( Primavera P6 Professional Project Management) and add it to your download queue.

• Click Continue in the top right corner of the page.

• Be sure to select the correct platform for your computer and click Continue.

• Review the license agreement, then check the checkbox and click Continue.

• Once you have agreed to the terms and conditions, download all of the .zip files shown on the website. Be sure to enable popups, so the download can start.

• The Oracle Download Manager will download. Install it and wait for your .zip files to download to your computer.


• After the files have been downloaded to your computer, you can click the Folder button to see where the .zip file have been saved.

Install the P6 Software

• Extract all the files and look for P6ProfessionalSetup.zip and extract it too.
• Open the P6ProfessionalSetup.exe and begin the typical install.

Set Up Your P6 Database

• Once the software is installed, select OK to Run Database Configuration.

• Choose:
• P6 Pro Standalone (SQLite).
• Add a new standalone database and connection.

• Enter a password for your database, then click Next for the next two screens until you can select Save.

Open the Primavera P6 application

• You can now open up Primavera P6 and log in with the username and password that you created for your database.
