Point of View Statement

Traditional Tracy needs to find a sustainable product with the same fundamental attributes and quality as the branded ones she currently uses because she relies on the branded corporation products’ reputation as well as her own personal history with those products too much to switch.

Minimum Viable Product

A website with a pop-up that compares branded products to similar products from more sustainable practices

The simplest version of this product that delivers value and meets the challenges of this POV statement will have these essential features:

  • Has a website with a pop-up extension
  • The website will include information about the user’s purchase history and the impact of those decisions
  • The pop-up will activate on purchasing websites and analyze the product and scan for similar products from more sustainable companies in factors including price, materials, carbon emissions, longevity of product, and reviews
  • The website must be easy to navigate and linked to the pop-up
  • The computing/processing power must be from a sustainable server
