  1. Michael, 28, Software Developer, Single

Interview Summary:

He is a minimalist and a bit of a techie. The interconnected hexagonal design seems futuristic and space-efficient. As a single guy, he needs space for his stuff, working from home and recreation room too. “I love that your idea is sustainable” – it fits with his eco-conscious lifestyle aims. He'd love a smart-home system integrated as well, so he can control everything with my devices.

  1. Hayley & Pip, 35 & 41, Full time mother & Consulting Partner, Couple

Interview Summary:

"We have 3 young kids so we need space!” Being work in professions that can sometimes require space too so the modular aspect is attractive especially as the apartments could be expanded. They'd need a kitchen where Hayley can experiment and cook as well as a small office space for Pip’s work.. They said that if it's as space-efficient as promised, they’d be all in!

3. Rustem, 48, Environmental Scientist & Entrepreneur, Single

Interview Summary:

"Sustainability is at the heart of what I do.” He said that the fact that these homes are built with that in mind and designed for a future where the world depends on sustainability is wonderful. He’d need space to work and for his sister’s son to play and learn when he has to take care of him. He values an adaptable space that can change as his needs change.

  1. Harry & Laura, Both 30, Medical Professionals, Couple with twin toddlers

Interview Summary:

With two young boys, safety and adaptability are key for them. They need a space that can accommodate play areas, but also has calm areas for relaxation. They've been looking for eco-friendly housing solutions currently, so they think this is a great idea for housing of the future. But they insisted that we would need to ensure child safety in our unique design.

Interview Summary:

He needs a space that is inspiring to him. He really likes the hexagonal designs and can imagine his place there having different sections for painting, sculpting, and digital work. He liked the idea that sustainability was included and considers this a bonus. He said that it would be great if he could customize the walls and colours too and if he could have a small balcony for growing plants and working outdoors.

  1. Aisling, 35, Writer & Journalist, Single

Interview Summary:

“Quietude and ambiance” are important for Aisling and for her work. She said she’d love to have a small garden or plant area to relax and think as well but isn’t sure if this is possible with the interlinking designs. With the interconnected design, maybe one hexagon can be a 'nature retreat' either privately or publicly? She asked about the variability of the design and if the modularity meant that it could be made larger. He liked the eco-friendliness as it resonates with her values too.
