What did you observe?

What did you observe and note as you watched users interact with your prototypes?

  • Note 1: I noticed users rushing through the “Quipu energy prospecting platform” presentation more quickly compared to the first test session. This was interesting since the changes to my slide deck were only minor. Perhaps there is some review fatigue setting in as we have now seen >6 ideas each.
  • Note 2: I noticed the questions that the users asked about the platform were different than the ones that I received on Monday 7/10. I was pleased with this, but I moderate the excitement by knowing that the sample size of two users from today might be too small to conclude anything definitive. However, the steps to automate the data submission process might be working to allay concerns that users might have in sharing their energy bills.

  • The first user mentioned that I should capitalize my headings and pick a font other than default. She said that it looked like a rushed effort to have some titles capitalized and others not.
