I began my academic journey in civil engineering at DTU, where I spent the first two years of my bachelor's degree from 2018 to 2020. I then transferred to Valparaiso University in Indiana, United States, where I completed my BS in Civil Engineering between 2020 and 2022.

Currently, I am a Master's student and Research Associate in Civil Engineering at Stanford University in California, USA, working under my advisor, M. D Lepch, from 2022. The photo in the timeline depicts my favorite group project regarding sustainability at Stanford and moments with my colleagues and advisor.

Sustainability means a lot to me, and it’s correlated with almost every aspect of our lifes. As civil engineers, people may only relate “sustainability” with lowering building carbon footprints, but I would say more. Durability, cost-effectiveness, government policies, and most importantly, well-being are all key components of "sustainable living." The goal of taking this class is not just to design projects that seem sustainable, but to also deepen our connection with people. If a product can encourage a more "sustainable" way of life, then it would be considered a great success.

In my spare time, I do a lot of badminton, traveling, hiking, and swimming. As a “sustainable” achievement, I'm proud to share that I lost 10 kilos during this past winter.
