Point of View Statements

Point of View Statement 1

Michelle needs to find an alternative that is more or less similar to the sanitary products she is currently using because she looks for comfort, absorption capacity which is by and large one of the basic needs of any sanitary napkin. Since we are concerned with a product that is used very regularly, it does not associate with any surprising insights as such.

Point of View Statement 2

Grace needs for the product to be within the regular price range in order for it to be a purchasing choice for her. Her inclination towards sustainability is conditional to whether she has to spend less or as much as she is currently.

Point of View Statement 3

Paris needs her sanitary pads to be very specific to sensitive skin type. She will not purchase the product unless there is evidence of the components used in the manufacturing of the sustainable sanitary pad.

Point of View Statement 4

Tiara is a loyal customer and does not trust newer alternatives, irrespective of whether they are catering to a more sustainable impact or not. She will only care about it once there is a solid brand name and customer base backing the product.

Selected Point of View Statement

You’ll select the Point of View statement that you’ll carry forward to inspire and guide your design work after our next class meeting on Mon, Jul 3.

The users are looking to purchase a sustainable sanitary pad only if it checks off all the basic requirements of a regular sanitary pad while still being in a similar price range. Additionally, varieties for specific skin types would also be a key ask in the later phases.
