TOP 3 SOLUTIONS (Include one paragraph description, one sketch, and the solution title. Maximum 250 words per solution mini-proposal)

1) Multifunctional Sport Area: Volleyball + basketball + pingpong tables

We can turn the unused space in our residential complex into a fun sports area for everyone. This new spot will include facilities for volleyball, basketball, and ping pong for students who want to stay active and hang out with friends.

  • In the center, we'll have a volleyball court with an adjustable net so everyone can play, from beginners to experts. It will be possible to adjust for pickelball and tennis as well.
  • We can create quarter tournaments and practice sessions
  • We'll have multiple ping pong tables in a covered area to protect them from the raining weather

We'll install energy-efficient LED lights for evening use and add benches and shaded spots for resting and socializing.

Some other thoughts: plant greenery around the area to make it look nice

2) Fountain with chairs

This solution will be more for meditation and relaxation for elderly residents of the complex

I have been inspired by the beautiful Jardin des Tuileries in Paris. This new spot will feature a stunning fountain surrounded by comfortable chairs, providing a peaceful environment where residents can enjoy bird watching (from the interviews)

  • elegant fountain with soothing water noise, I believe it will be the main point for the residents. Surrounding by variety of comfortable soft chairs and benches.
  • we will add greenery and flowers around the fountain area, much like the gardens of the Jardin des Tuileries.

3) Community vegetable garden (favourite!)

We propose transforming an unused area in our residential complex into a community vegetable garden.

  • The garden will feature individual and shared plots where residents can plant a variety of vegetables, herbs, and flowers.
  • High-quality soil and sustainable watering solutions to ensure optimal growing conditions.
  • Residents can engage in gardening and learn about sustainable practices
  • Shared community garden tools and equipment
  • Eco-friendly waste disposal and provide nutrient-rich compost
  • Benches and picnic tables will be placed around the garden
