Working title: The Advertisment Column Revolution
Visiting Vincent Visiting Vincent is 27 years old, male, comes from Japan and is characterized mainly by his curiosity. He already is well-travelled and attentive. He hopes to storage all the important moments of his trip with his camera. The fascination of Stanford is huge. He would be curious to learn more about the events happening at Stanford.
PoV: Despite being attentive, I did not recognize the advertisment columns at Stanford campus. There are just too many impressions. From my point of view, bringing the advertisment columns more into focus would be great in order to learn more about Stanford and the daily life of the students. I need advertisment to be colorfoul and more special - just as Stanford is.
Stressed Susan Stressed Susan is characterized by being intelligent, high-performing and active. She is a female Stanford student, 21 years old, originally from South Dakota and studying Computer Science. Her friends value her a lot for her open-minded manner and her friendliness. Despite being involved in many associations, she always has the fear of missing something out. On one side she feels overwhelmed by the information she already gets. On the other hand, she would love to know about them all. She faces this problem constantly.
PoV: I would love to do it all. This causes a lof of stress as I also need to study hard. I know I cannot do everything but knowing at least what is going on on Campus would definitely add value. Advertisement columns are great but I know they are not very effective. I sometimes even forget that they exist! Thats quite a pity when I think about it. I also have my own personal story with them: Once I worked for a association and we wanted to advertise our musical. I used the columns to advertise the event! However, only a few people showed up in the end and those were close friends and family members. The advertisment columns did not really work for me. However, when I pinned the information about our musical on the columns, I just realized how many different events there were going on! It was very interesting and quite inspirational. However, some happened long time ago and it was a huge mess. Some events about sport, then a party, then someone who is looking for a bike. It was quite exhausting to get an overview. I need more overview and only up-to-date information.
Mobile Mark Mark is characterized as inattentive, sleepy and relaxed. He is 23 years old, originally from Wyoming and has a lot of friends. When he walks over the campus, he is calling them all the time. However, when he is not talking to them on the phone, he spents time on social Media or meeting up with people in person. Nevertheless, he is smart and studies a lot. He has no bicycle but rather walks to class without stress, even when he comes to late. He is a party person that do not want to miss any party. However, he never stops for advertisment columns as he does not know that they exist.
PoV: Honestly, I am very lazy in organising myself. Actually, now when I think about it, there are advertisment columns on my way to class. When I would stop there, I would come to class late even more often. The whole columns are too messy. It would take me too much time to get an overview. I need them to be in order and more efficienty. When its raining or there is a storm, they fly around and get dirty. I dont like such waste of resources. I think, maybe, I stop and have a look, next time I head to class. However, I must be honest, they are just not interesting enough in comparison to my social media or when I am talking with my friends. I need them to grab my attention.
