Part B - Preliminary Problem Statement

Preliminary Problem Statement: Frequent long-distance travel and dorm life present significant garment care challenges, with clothes becoming wrinkled and damaged due to humidity and heat, and traditional dryers often leaving clothes damp or burnt. A comprehensive solution is needed to ensure efficient wrinkle removal and proper drying, keeping clothes in pristine condition.

Expanded Problem Statement:

After traveling for 16+ hours from Dubai to San Francisco, my clothes endured a long journey in my suitcase. Despite starting perfectly ironed and in great condition, by the time I opened my suitcase, everything was ruined—my clothes were wrinkled and damaged from the humidity and heat.

When I first moved into my dorm, I faced a constant struggle. I had to steam my wrinkled clothes before every class, which was time-consuming and occasionally dangerous—I even burned a couple of garments. Another recurring issue was that my clothes would come out of the dryer still wet or, worse, burnt from the extreme heat, despite spending almost 25 minutes in the dryer.

This led me to think there must be a better solution for garment care. Why not incorporate and solve both issues at once
